Guernsey has a host of locations which are all within a few miles of each other. The island is only 25 square miles and the islands of Alderney, Sark and Herm are smaller yet. Those islands are all accessible by boat or, in the case of Alderney, also by air.
Amongst the many locations are medieval churches, castles from all ages, WWII fortifications, Napoleonic period towers, beaches, cliffs, countryside, harbours, towns, boats, Neolithic tombs and standing stones, civic and public buildings and homes.
And 10 metre tides can be dramatic too.
Take a look at some of the coast, castles, countryside, churches, caves and other curiosities.
